Marty Beller is a New York City based composer/drummer/percussionist who has a long history of collaboration with dance, film,TV and pop music.  He has an extensive list of credits and has received praise from the New York Times, New York Post, Village Voice, Boston Herald, Boston Globe, and Billboard.  

Roderick L. Jackson is currently music director of Batoto Yetu Children's African Dance Company and also has a long list of music and dance credits.  He is percussionist on staff at the Alvin Ailey School of American dance and Broadway Dance Center.

Feature article in Dance Teacher July/August 2000 says of Marty Beller and Breathe ... "A CD to help you soar"!!  The CD "emerged from a recording session set up by (Bill) Hastings based on his modern-jazz classwork." ... "Beller aimed to make the recording evoke the feeling of live accompaniment."
